The best burger is at Breakers on the beach. The best pizza is definetly Mikey’s on 3rd. A great sub out of Mon Delice and there is no better pastry there as well. For a sit-down dinner, the Garlic is the place. For an old neighborhood type bar Peanuts is very freindly and reasonable. Want a great happy hour? PJ’s or Flip-Flops and for a great sunset cocktail you must sit outside at JB’s fish camp ( also great seafood).

Norwoods: http://www.norwoods.com/ , Spanish River Grill, and Dolphin View are all very good.

I think everyone should go to Fort Lauderdale and The Keys which are really beautiful, after going to Miami and disney land. They have much nicer beaches than Miami and are really relaxing and I’m sure both will have golf courses. I don’t know if you want to see wildlife but it is fun going to see the aligators in the Everglades too.

You really need to decide on what you want to do and how long you would like to stay. October is one of the best months to get deals for Disney World and all of the other attractions in that area as it generally is a slow month. The exception is when you get closer to Halloween as Universal Studios has Horror Nights and Disney now has their not so scary Mickey’s Halloween party. But generally October is a great month. Get a bit more specific with your question and we can point you in the right direction.
There is some great golfing out there as well, even on Disney property.

You can get low fares almost any time of year except the holidays, but the fall is usually a very good time to get low fares. Be sure to book several months in advance.

I’ve been able to get some cheap airfares to Tampa on Southwest Airlines booking the flight in the fall, travelling in January. Southwest usually has plenty of sales, so be sure to check out their website. Also, the weather in the Tampa Bay area in January is great. Warm, sunny weather and little humidity or bugs. No crowds, either.

It’s cheap during hurricane season… mainly June to September. My parents went a couple of years ago, because they found great deals, but they only enjoyed one day… then a hurricane hit and the vacation was ruined. I’m going in a few weeks, because so far, this year there hasn’t been any hurricanes… sometimes you just get lucky.
